Kitao Sakurai (bad trip) is on board to direct “multiple episodes” of the series.
The TV series, currently in the works by Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions, is described as a “half-hour comedy live-action adaptation”.
The original live-action series version is courtesy of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernickthe duo behind zombieland and the dead Pool film.

Michael Jonathan Smith (“Cobra Kai”) is on board to write and present the “Twisted Metal” series. Additionally, Will Arnett and Marc Forman serve as executive producers.
The first one twisted metal The game was released in 1995, developed by SingleTrac and published by Sony for the PlayStation. This original game spawned follow-ups and spin-offs, with a film adaptation at some point in the works of the director of Crank and ghost rider. This project never saw the light of day and a television adaptation has been in development for a few years.
