Universal has already shown that the Fast Furious the franchise may exist outside of the main series to some extent. For example, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Derivative was largely a stand-alone entity separate from the main film series at the time of its release, and with the exception of Han’s introduction and the brief cameo Dom in the film’s dying moments, it really does exist as its own thing. . In addition, projects like Hobbs & Shaw as good as Fast and furious spy runners, show how the series can turn and tell stories that move away from Brian and Dom.

Of course, fans will have to wait and see what the future looks like for the Fast Furious deductible after Fast & Furious 11 ends the main story. It doesn’t matter if it’s more Hobbs & Shaw From movies, villain-focused spinoffs like the Cipher movie that is reportedly in development, or smaller stories told in a streaming landscape, it’s clear Lin wants to be a part of whatever comes next for the series. F9 is currently available on Digital and will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on September 21.
