Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming film has a truly impressive cast. Deadline reports that the film, Argylle, will star Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson and singer Dua Lipa in her first acting role. She will also write the original music for the film.
Argylle is based on the spy novel of the same name by Ellie Conway, which is expected to be released soon. It tells the story of a spy traveling the world named Argylle.
The film is set to begin filming in Europe in August, and it is the first of at least three films scheduled. The settings will include London, America, and other locations around the world.
Vaughn directs Argylle from a screenplay written by Jason Fuchs of Wonder Woman. “When I read this first draft of a manuscript, I felt it was the most incredible and original spy franchise since Ian Fleming’s books of the 1950s. It will reinvent the genre. espionage, ”Vaughn said.
