After life follows Tony, played by Gervais, who discovers a new philosophy of life while struggling to come to terms with his wife’s death. As his loved ones try to revive Tony’s former “nice guy” character, he tries to find a reason to revive after his life falls apart.
The series also stars Penelope Wilton (Downton abbey), Ashley Jensen (Supplements), Tom Basden (Pleb), Tony Way (Edge of tomorrow), David Earl (Junction of the cemetery), Joe Wilkinson (Him and her), Kerry Goldiman (Derek), Jo Hartley (In my skin) and Diane Morgan (David Brent: Life on the Road).
