The opportunity to learn from Alec’s experiences certainly caught the attention of students in the city.

Eve Howarth, 21, said: “Having been inspired by so many Vogue shoots over the years, I’ll be pretty dazzled. I hope this workshop will launch my career in the industry once I graduate in a few months. »

Naomi Austin, lecturer in fashion, design and promotion at the university, is also delighted with the visit.

She said: “Alec has worked with Rihanna and Naomi Campbell, as well as luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Dior. I think this will be a great opportunity for him to reminisce about his university days with our students, as well than giving them tips and tricks to survive in the crazy world of fashion.
